We arrived at Durban Airport about 14 hours after we had left London. We were tired, smelly and a little worse for wear but very excited and eager to get going.

We quickly found Peterus - a friendly representative of God's Golden Acre (GGA) - and within two hours we had arrived at GGA Headquarters with our luggage and the ten huge bags of donated kids clothes we had agreed to take with us from GGA UK.

Once there we were shown to the rondavel (circular, thatched cottage) where we would spend the next three weeks and given a tour of the GGA complex.

We met some of the 86 children that live there, had something to eat and then got an early night. We had finally arrived!
