We are very happy to report that the group has now returned to
the UK after successfully building a new home for vulnerable
children in the rural South African province of Kwa Zulu Natal.
Thank you so much to all of those who supported us. Without your
help and generous donations we would never have been able to achieve
our mission.
In fact, people gave so generously that we actually managed to
raise over £12,000 more than we needed. This extra money is now
being allocated to
further help the children of South Africa. For example, so far some of this
money has already gone towards buying food, blankets, and nappies.
And we are currently in the process of allocating the rest of the
money to other important areas such as teaching, building repairs,
clothing, fuel and child sponsorship (e.g. a five year old boy
called Delani is now able to go to school because of you). The group also plans to set up
a general fund to aid the continuation of projects such as Homes of
Hope.
The picture on the top right shows what the plot of land looked
like when we first arrived and the picture below it shows what the
same plot looked like after we had built the new house.

there.
